This plan for this blog is to be a collection of short posts about enterprise technology architecture and the multiple paradigm shifts that have occurred in corporate/enterprise computing in the recent decades. Many were given trendy names from the likes of Gartner, but I will try to explore why they are paradigm shifts and tease apart the implications. Mobile First, Cloud First, IoT/IIoT, OT/IT Convergence, and Cyber Organized Crime, Hactavism and Cyber Espionage and Warfare to name a few.
Posts will focus mostly on architecture and considerations appropriate for security sensitive private organizations. Often I will also discuss enhanced security and reliability options for Critical Infrastructure, please assume these posts are not appropriate for systems with very significant consequences.
